Lorne Schwartz- Chief Executive Officer

  • Mr. Schwartz has many years of success as an entrepreneur, executive leader and CEO in the software business winning several industry awards for achieving outstanding levels of Customer Satisfaction, a critical component in MEI's sucess.  
  • At 25 years of age he founded and was CEO of Momentum Business Systems in 1993 that developed into one of the dominant Travel Expense Management software companies in North America. Additionally, after Momentum was sold to OnX Incorporated, Mr. Schwartz served as CEO of Acceleron, a spin-off of OnX, offering travel expense management software solutions.  
  • In 2004, Mr. Schwartz launched e-Finitive Systems, a software developer of document imaging solutions for the mid-market. After e-Finitive was purchased in 2006 by ImageTag Inc., based in Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Schwartz served as the company's EVP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Mr. Schwartz was also the Chairman of the Board of IndustryHub Inc., a software development company developing software for the e-Procurement market space.

Fred Schroeder - President, North American Sales and Marketing
  • Fred Schroeder brings more than 20 years experience in CG's sales management with Procter & Gamble and The Coca-Cola Company and 7 years in CG software sales and senior management.  
  • At The Coca-Cola Company he worked for 17 years with the Minute Maid Division in several sales capacities culminating being head of sales for the Northeast Region where he was intimately involved in managing millions of dollars in Trade Promotion Spending for all Minute Maid Company brands.  
  • He started his career with Procter & Gamble in a variety of sales positions dealing with retailers around the country.

Patrick Thibault - Chief Operating Officer    

  • Patrick Thibault brings 15 years of experience in consulting in banking, restructuring, financing, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures.  
  • Previously to join MEI as CFO, Patrick worked at Ernst & Young in their Transaction Advisory Services department as Senior Manager and he was one of the key members of the restructuring of MEI. After the restructuring of MEI, Patrick joined the team based upon a strong belief in the future of the company.  
  • Patrick has also previously worked for the Royal Bank of Canada in their Corporate Banking department financing knowledge-based-companies and previously worked for the National Bank of Canada.

Jim Rowe - Brand Architect / Senior Partner, Manhattan Marketing Ensemble

  • MEI out-sources its marketing and advertising function to Manhattan Marketing Ensemble with Jim holding the position of Brand Architect for MEI as of November, 2005.  
  • Jim brings 30 years of consumer goods marketing experience as both a client in senior marketing management positions, and as owner of Manhattan Marketing Ensemble an integrated branding and advertising agency with significant CG experience and clients.  
  • Jim has been intimately involved in the marketing, branding and advertising of many CG brands including Coca-Cola, Newport, Cutty Sark, Miller Beer, M&M Mars, Minute Maid, Nathan's, Maxell, La Yogurt, Ssips, Clarion Cosmetics, and more.
